The Cloudburst Drive development will be a 4-storey, 45,000 SF wood-frame building with 58 units and one level of parking. Developed by Whistler Sport Legacies Society, the building aims to provide rental housing for workers, athletes, and coaches based in Whistler.
The project was designed using energy efficiency measures (Step Code 4 of the BC Building Code) and will be Net Zero Ready upon completion. Amenities at the development will include community gathering spaces and an exterior climbing wall. Construction of the building is utilizing prefabrication, with both the wood-frame walls and concrete forms being manufactured off-site.
